As our community and our fire department recover, I would like to say thanks to some mighty fine people that have come our way. First and foremost, I must thank all of my firefighters and their families for the outstanding job they have done and the outstanding
job they continue to do. Without these men and women and their families understanding natures, who knows where we would be today.
Next, I must say thanks to all the fire departments, faith-based groups, and private organizations who have sent supplies, fire trucks, manpower, and donations to help us operate as we attempt to rebuild our department.
As you read this, you must forgive me as I am not quite sure what to say. Saying thank you is just one of the hardest things to do oddly enough. How do you thank people for the kinds of things they've done (and continue to do) for us? How do you thank the people
who have not only come in to help rebuild our department but also come to us as we try to rebuild our personal lives? I guess the only thing that can be said is once again Thank You.
Thank you all,
Chief Kim Jones
